FAQ

  • Is there a minimum or maximum age limit required to apply?
    No. Only requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • If I start and then stop taking classes, can I pickup sometime in the future at any time without losing credit for what I already completed?"
    Yes, you can resume course participation at any time with no loss of credit for previous courses.
  • If I completed courses while the school was under a different name and leadership, will I receive credit for those courses completed?"
    Yes.
  • Can I enroll in any degree program?
    Right now, the only Degree Program available for entry is the Associate Degree of Theology in Bible and Biblical Studies. Participation in “Diploma” programs of study is also available. Other Degree Programs will be available in the future.
  • Are letters of recommendation required to apply?
    Yes. The Application requests recommendations.
  • Can I transfer credits from another school or obtain life-experience credits?
    Although, yes, there is opportunity for this in the future, only course content for first year of an Associate Degree is available at this time, so previous credit applied to your transcript would not be beneficial at this time.
  • What is the cost of tuition?
    Tuition is $75 per credit hour for undergraduate courses. Most courses are 3 credits hours, although there are some that are 2 or 4.
  • Can I just take courses for my own enrichment and not pay tuition if I do not take exams?
    No. There is no “auditing’ of courses at this time. Enrollment in any course requires payment of tuition.
  • Are the courses 100% available online or will attendance be required for any session?
    All courses will be available online. On occasion, when a course is being developed for the first time, there may be opportunity for students to attend and participate “live".
  • Will there be tests?
    Yes. At minimum, a final exam will be issued, but for some courses, a mid-exam may also be issued.
  • When can I begin my first course?
    An application must first be submitted along with a fee. Upon being notified of acceptance, you can enroll in your first course. The Dean of Academic Affairs will work with you to establish a Program of Courses, based upon your goals.
  • When I complete my studies, am I eligible for ministry ordination?"
    Bible School credits do not automatically qualify you for ordination You may inquire about eligibility standards for ordination in FWCMI, directly from your local pastor or from FWCMI administration.
